Xactimate Roof Estimate questions
What is included with a Xactimate Roof Estimate order?
The order includes an ESX roof sketch, a Xactimate Roof Estimate PDF, and a Xactimate Roof Estimate ESX file. A PDF roof measurement report is included only when you select an ESX plus PDF measurement report type.
Do I need to order a roof measurement report too?
Yes. The estimate must be ordered with a roof measurement report that includes an ESX file. PDF-only and XML-only measurement reports do not meet this requirement.
How long does a Xactimate Roof Estimate take?
Xactimate roof estimates are due back within 24 hours of the measurement report being completed. The measurement report has its own average turnaround, and complex properties, imagery issues, or revision requests can take longer.
What information can I provide for the estimate?
You can provide roof type, stories, layers, ventilation, skylights, chimneys, flashing, gutters, underlayment, decking, re-nailing, paint, accessories, general notes, and optional photos or documents.
Can I request a revision?
Yes. If something needs adjustment after delivery, you can request a revision. No specific revision count or revision turnaround is promised.
Is Roof Report 360 affiliated with Xactimate?
No. Xactimate is third-party estimating software. Roof Report 360 prepares files for Xactimate workflows but does not claim an affiliation, endorsement, or partnership.
